At (med)24 we believe that truly holistic primary care, at its very best, includes treatments and services that focus on wellbeing and prevention. Our Comprehensive and Total Membership Healthcare Plans go beyond consultations when you feel unwell, and annual medical assessments to include preventative care packages – our commitment to making sure that you’re always feeling the best that you can.

We believe that the old division between mental and physical wellbeing is outmoded, and know that addressing one can help with the other, so the mindfulness element of our programme provides you with a mental wellbeing assessment and then, if prescribed, a number of follow-up sessions with a qualified, registered therapist at our clinic. If you’re on a Household membership, this provision can be extended to your teenage children.

The assessment may look at issues around anxiety, ‘overthinking’, stress, low mood, not being present in the moment or feeling a lack of focus, and then work through different strategies that can build resilience around these concerns. It’s a proactive, integrated approach to your care and rooted in our belief that early examination and intervention is the most effective way of keeping you feeling your best. At a time when more of us than ever are finding our familiar routines disrupted, and are having to deal with new kinds of stress, we believe that this approach to mental health has never been more important.

We extend this preventative wellbeing approach to your physical fitness, working with you to assess your diet and provide nutritional guidance, as well as carrying out some pre-hab physiotherapy work. Over an original consultation and then a number of follow-up sessions, this involves a full body evaluation to assess you for skeletal imbalances, muscular tightening, and mechanical weaknesses, as well as consider your gait analysis and posture, identifying any issues before they turn into more painful problems. By ensuring that the small things you do every day aren’t storing up bigger complications for the future, we can help you get back to your busy lifestyle, but functioning at the peak of health.
