Meet the Team

Jonathan Kron
Co-founder & CEO
Raised in Ireland, I balanced my studies with competing internationally as a long jumper. Studying at Princeton and law school then led me to a career as a corporate lawyer, specialising in the healthcare sector and the negotiation of agreements for both the NHS and private medical enterprises.
Through this work, and hearing people’s frustrations with accessing reliable, uncomplicated, top quality healthcare, the concept of (med)24 was born. I know we can do better, and that with our closely knit team and commitment to ongoing innovation, (med)24 really can make a valuable impact on our members' lives.

Ahmad Al-Hamad
Co-founder
Over my 25 years in financial services worldwide, I have long worked to support new ventures, with my focus increasingly being on opportunities driven by technology and innovation. Investing early in (med)24, I’ve been directing the strategy and fundraising, along with the provision of governance and structure.
I believe it’s time the UK had an excellent primary care provider for the 21st century, a vital first point of call that’s seamless, personal and genuinely patient-first. As a father of two young girls and with ageing parents, healthcare has never been more central to my life. Our journey at (med)24 is one of change – change for the better.

Mauriel Ramkhelawan
Director Of Clinical Services
My professional career began with nursing in Trinidad, working across a wide range of disciplines, in hospitals and across community medicine, developing my knowledge in preventative care and general and paediatric nursing. After relocating to the UK, I taught critical care in the private sector and specialised in setting up new clinics, developing services and building medical teams, holding various regulatory and senior management roles.
Now Director of Clinical Services for (med)24, I oversee compliance standards, quality of care, and staffing excellence. By supporting our staff, we can deliver outstanding care to our patients.

Dr. Chiraush Patel
MBBS BSC Drcog Mrcgp Msc (sem)
General Practice Lead
After working as a junior doctor in the NHS, I qualified as a GP in 2015, and in tandem pursued a Masters in sports medicine. I worked across the NHS and private sector, treating patients and also appraising the performance of other doctors, and learning from both systems.
Healthcare in the UK is practiced well, but delivery can fall short. (med)24’s holistic approach means we can get to know our patients like family doctors do, whilst embracing the latest technology. I’m responsible for everything GP-related at the clinic, overseeing the team, evolving their service and appraising them – as well as doing my own shifts as a GP, of course.

Dr. Tim Evans
MBBS MRCGP DRCOG DA
Medical Director
Having qualified in 1979, I spent time working in Africa as a District Medical Officer, opening clinics and managing a large hospital. Returning to the UK, I turned to General Practice, working across NHS and private hospitals before setting up a practice in SW London specialising in women’s and children’s health. Integrated alternative, complementary and preventative healthcare posts followed as well as volunteer work supporting a school for special needs children and a charity providing HIV healthcare in Africa.
I believe in (med)24’s vision for a new kind of healthcare provision that’s rooted in holistic, patient-centred care, and am overseeing medical strategy, integrity and policy, alongside performing some GP consultations.

DR. AFROSA AHMED
MBBS, MRCGP, DCH
GP & MINDFULNESS DOCTOR
My role at (med)24 is to oversee our mindfulness services. After qualifying from Guy’s and St Thomas’ Medical School, I worked as a GP for over 15 years. I also graduated from the UK College of Mindfulness Meditation, becoming accredited on the UK Mindfulness Teachers’ register. I have worked extensively with several London Medical Schools and universities, teaching medical mindfulness to students and doctors. I’ve also worked with schools, community groups and medical journals promoting holistic health.
The concept of mindfulness is simple – it means paying attention to the present moment, without judgment. Whether tackling stress, anxiety, depression, diet or sleep issues, this work enables people to stop surviving – and start living.

VICTORIA REBOREDO
SENIOR PHYSIOTHERAPIST
I am the senior physiotherapist at (med)24, leading, providing and developing the services our members can receive. First trained in A Coruna in northern Spain, I have specialised in paediatrics, respiratory, sports physiotherapy and strength and conditioning, working in clinics, hospitals and with the Royal Academy of Dance. My main clinical interest is in sports and musculoskeletal conditions.
I have always dreamt of a place where the patients can receive the care they need under the same roof with minimal admin, hassle and distraction, allowing them to focus completely on getting back to what they want to do. Our service is streamlined, open, honest and effective, and does just that for our members.
