You will still need to pay for a test within three days before returning to England, and a PCR test within two days after arriving.

You will have to prove you were vaccinated at least 14 days previously, using the NHS Covid Pass (on the NHS app) or an NHS Covid Pass letter.

Children under 18 will no longer have to self-isolate.

Children aged 10 and under will not have to take a test before departure for England.

If you are not fully vaccinated under the UK vaccination programme, you will have to quarantine on arrival and take both the day 2 and day 8 tests if returning from Amber and Red list countries.

Day 5 is a Test To Release from quarantine.

It is your responsibility to understand the latest travel requirements for your individual countries by visiting, gov.uk/foreigntravel, or speaking directly to your airline provider.

Passengers arriving into the UK cannot take a Test To Release test until they have isolated in the UK for 5 full days.

Your arrival day is day 0. You swab on Day 5.

Day 5 is a Test To Release from quarantine.
